Meeting Mel
Well I did in fact get a chance to meet one of my art heroes - the amazing Mel Crawford a week or so ago. Sorry there hasn't been much in the way of updates, but I am just very very busy tying up all sorts of loose ends.
I will give you a few quick things that I learned about Mel that I'm not too sure anyone else is aware of though as a tease while I try and put together a more comprehensive review of some of the things we discussed during my visit.
Mel worked for Disney on Vambi and did some BG work - While there he was pretty good friends with none other than Bill "Vladimir" Tytla and had some interesting stories.
back with more later and a new topic or two with some artwork as well.

Wow, It must've been great talking to Mel Crawford. I've never heard of him until I found your blog. Thanks for sharing us your experiences with him.
